Yes I know we have these threads that could be construed as narky bitchy thoughts. The only reason they are generally made is because reasonable requests are ignored time and time again. Reasonable people are treated like complete c*rap from the FC. The FC refuses to communicate. Hey I would say it all and very nicely on their board if they allowed such a discussion. Any such discussions get the chop in an instant. FFS one isnt even allowed to ask anything these days it seems. Thus that is why IMHO that this board gets the bad reputation. We ask and discuss openly the things that we are not allowed to ask or discuss anywhere else.

Plus they the heck are they even reading what we say if we are of so little interest. This is just one of millions of boards and fan boards out in cyber space.

I would be fair to them if they acted logically and rationally. I didnt just decide to think this way about them because they have acted so lovely. Its over time a series of their actions and nonactions. What other conclusions is there?? You forget how to question may as well give up.

So we are not their cup of tea?? Dont bother drinking with us then.

Sorry i'm not being clear Kat, i'm not saying it isn't likely that it's personal, my point was just that deciding it's personal doesn't make anything any better and seems to just be making people feel worse.

I don't agree with the FC's silence policy anymore than you do, but that doesn't mean i can't see any reasons for them to adopt that policy. For them, they believe silence works better than explanations, ok fair enough. We can try, and have tried, to explain why we feel our method is better and it's been made obvious in rare responses from the fanclub that they aren't buying what *we* are selling either LOL So, again, we are at the same impasse all over again *g*

And i agree, who needs their approval? They aren't trying to pretend their board is about freedom of speech and they make it clear not every fan is welcome there. So nuts to them, let's just go hang out here and on the Sony board, i mean you guys can have all the debates you want about topics not allowed on the fanclub board because i'm not about to stop you or delete threads, just forget the fanclub board and let them worry about trying to keep the place interesting or fun or whatever. It's obvious they don't want our participation or help so we need not bother *s*

I'd just thought i'd say that it breaks my heart to see you guys hurt, i think that got lost in my big ramble *huggles everyone*

i did have a respectful, reasonable discussion with someone on the other side of the fence privately and discreetly and i wouldn't be smart if i didn't try to think about what i was told, try to see things from the other side.

Well Steen you are very lucky to have been given an audience. Believe me many respectful advances regarding concerns have been met with abrupt one line responses or silence. Trying to see the other side works both ways, as does respect.

I see in hindsight the better option is to just completely shut up and keep things to yourself.

i know Barb, i know many of you and me too we have been polite and respectful and i'm not trying to say we warrant being treated badly, not at all.

Yep I get what you are saying Steen.

It is their board so it is their rules as you say. Just like we dont like their policy and attitude they dont like ours. Both sides feel slighted. Neither side wants to give the other the time of day anymore. I guess they have their impressions of us as we have of them.

As you say we dont need their board to say what we need to say. We have here or sony. These two boards are perfectly fine for me to post on. I dont actually need some sort of recognition from the FC boards as such. I guess it just would of been nice to reach some sort of understanding on some level somewhere. I guess as admin/family of that board they have taken the policy of what they say just is. That they shouldnt have to explain themselves, their rules (which arent ever explained) shold just be adhered to. They brook no discussion and thats the message they are trying so hard to get across. We on the other hand demand discussion lol which we will never get.

There is going to be no resolution, no meeting in the middle, no logical next step.

This is the way it is.. play their way or play on the highway lol

So yes we do have options and that is make our fun on our own boards without fear of reprimand.

You know guys, we're just not going to win this one (not that we set out to 'win' anything) and we just have to face the fact that we're obviously not welcome over there. They hate our type of 'fan' b/c we question things and don't accept the BS that's being handed out. I guess at the end of the day that they just want ppl who will blindly accept and agree with what's being dished out by whomever has their hand on the spoon. *shrugs* I can't say that I mind or that I even care to be honest but I'm saddened b/c with my hand on my heart, I had absolutely no evil intentions whatsoever when I posted on that board! So, let them continue to flood his public board with mindless pap and fluff b/c he's obviously decided that he's happy to let ppl think that's all that there is to him. What a shame.[/ramble]

Yeah I agree with Terry. I mean theres just no point anymore.

It saddens me as well as I honestly had no evil in mind when posting on there. It was a decision I made which I thought at the time was a good one . I was wrong.
